It’s taken a lot of tweaks and experimenting to get the laser cutting the closed cell foam this clean, but it is perfect.

Packages like this are my bread and butter. A true turn key tac driver. Every single component, premium.

Follow up to the post from the other day.

Scope mounted and rifle zeroed. These two 5-rounds groups are shots #4-13 from this 25 Creed. No load dev. 106 yards. This is the pet load for my 25 CM NRL Hunter rifle and amazingly enough, it has shot like this in every 25 CM I’ve built.

Hands down my favorite cartridge. They are just plain fun to shoot.

Brass prepped to perfection. Powder charges within .02 grains. Primers seated .004” past flush. Bullets seated within .001”. Rifle dialed. All rounds inspected. Let’s goooooooo!

20 round group at the very end, fired without any breaks. Very impressive for a monster of a rifle. She was hot by the end and had a consistent POI shift right, which is all good since I won’t be shooting more than 8 rounds / stage.

250 A-Tips at 3015 is amazing long range medicine.

A classic with some new life. This clean, clip-slotted Re*****on 40x got a new Brux MTU with some nice and deep straight flutes, target crown and a flawless chamber.

With all the metal and composites we see in rifles these days, it’s refreshing to see something like this. It makes me want to build a similar rifle for myself.

Back to back wins for TPM!

Last weekend took top honors in open light division at the Defiance Anti Social NRL hunter match in Belt, MT. And this weekend I pulled off a first place win in open heavy division at the Nightforce Snake River Outdoorsman NRL Hunter match in Juliaetta, ID.

This was one of the most challenging matches I’ve ever shot and the points race at the top was very close, proving that every impact matters. The course was amazing, offering some unique high-angle shooting, killer views, and some really diverse terrain that I enjoyed immensely. Once again, the quarter bore “miracle” Creedmoor performed all that was asked of it and then some. The whole rifle / ammo setup I’m running currently is arguably the best shooting rifle I’ve ever had…. In my life!

Overall, it was an excellent event at a fantastic venue. I had the opportunity to meet some new people, see some good buddies and have a great time. Shout out to the boys who made squad 7 awesome:
