Opening this Thursday, September 10, at the Menil Collection is Jitish Kallat's site-specific wall drawing. Kallat, through his multifaceted practice, probes the intersections of the intimate and the immense.

The volume "Jitish Kallat: Integer Study" reproduces a portfolio of the artist's 365 drawings recorded daily in 2021. Throughout the year-long ritual, three sets of numbers—global human populatino, births, and deaths at a specific moment—evoke themes of climate, extinction, evolution, and decay.

See Kallat's monumental wall drawing in the Menil Drawing Institute, then stop by the Menil Bookstore to purchase "Integer Study."
