"You walk by a camera, you wave, and you keep going."

We sat down with Randy from Custom Archery and Outdoors to talk trail cams on public land and his take might surprise you. With cell cams sending pics straight to a phone, he says stealing one is basically waving at the camera before you do it. Makes sense to us!

Where do YOU stand on trail cams on public land? Drop your take below. πŸ‘‡

Every bowhunter has a list.

We caught up with Molly from A-1 Archery to talk about hers. Whitetail's already checked off, bear's next up, and spot-and-stalk elk in the mountains is the dream.

What's at the top of YOUR bowhunting bucket list? Drop it in the comments.

Public land, no experience, and a whole lot of trial and error - that's how most archery hunting journeys begin. Show up, pay attention, and let the woods teach you. The rest? It comes with time and the right people around you.
New to bowhunting?

That's exactly where your local pro shop comes into play. Stop in, ask questions, and support the people who live and breathe this stuff. You'll walk out with more than just gear. πŸ‘Š

Someone else's trail cam is sitting right there… do you have the right to pull the SD card?

Travis from A1 Archery keeps it real - it's an etiquette thing. You're in the same area as another hunter. That's an opportunity to run your own camera nearby, not dig through someone else's. If it's not in a lock box, sure, it's technically accessible - but that doesn't make it a good look.'

"It's not my equipment. I'm never gonna encroach on another guy's setup."'

Real talk on trail cam ethics. What are you doing?

A1 Archery's Molly is pulling 70 lbs with a 29" draw. Sitting at ~85% let-off means she's only holding around 15 lbs, and she says drawing that in the cold? Zero problem on late-season hunts.

Shooting a 300 spine arrow with both the Victory and Easton setups, she's generating all the kinetic energy she needs for whitetail hunting. No need to go over 70 lbs when your setup is dialed in.

What draw and let-off are you shooting? We want to know in the comments! ⬇️

We talked with Molly at A-1 Archery about what it's like being a woman in hunting.

Her advice? Bite the bullet. Dive in. Do everything from start to finish - and earn your spot.
"You're one of the gang when they give you sh*t." πŸ’ͺ
