A Taste of History at Gedney is THIS SUNDAY, August 23!

Join us as we celebrate the history behind the Gedney name and take a trip back to 1892, when the original Gedney Hotel & Opera House opened its doors in downtown Independence.

🕐 History Talk with Pete Gaumer from 1:00–2:00 PM

Pete will share the story of the original Gedney Hotel & Opera House, including its grand opening, impressive details, the people connected to it, and the important role it played in Independence history.

Come early, grab a coffee and something scratch-made, then stick around for a little local history!
