Another Friday, another round of new releases and reissues.

This week will appeal to the fans of heavier music with the anticipated release of Pittsburgh’s 156/Silence, we’ve got copies on LP and CD. Sn**ch ‘em quick, they won’t last long.

9/3 - CD RESTOCKS AND NEW TITLES

Another gloomy day in Indiana, PA…another good record shopping day. At least, in my opinion.

Lots of titles starting to come in for the weekend. If you like Echo & the Bunnymen or the Cure, the cd section is going to look pretty good to you as of today. Also, stocked up on some Modest Mouse, Alex G, My Chemical Romance, and some other random stuff.

It’s Thursday. It’s raining. We’ll be here from 11-7. You should be too.

9/2 - PREOWNED LP NEW ADDS

It’s September and gloomy already. My kind of weather.

Here’s some highlights of some preowned records we’ve acquired lately. If you like Miles Davis or the Rolling Stones, pay attention. Also pains me to let that Herbie Hancock hit the floor, but I can’t hoard everything. Buy it. Make me regret it. I dare you.

It’s Wednesday and if you aren’t buying funnel cakes by the pound at the Indiana County Fair, you should be buying some records.

8/31 - WEEKLY HOURS 8/31-9/6

September. We’re here. Maybe the heat dies down now. I don’t know if it has or not. I don’t go outside.

Hours are pretty familiar. You all have been taking advantage of the weekday hours being until 7, so we’re going to keep with it and either I’m going to have to learn to meal prep for my weeks, or Bob’s Pizza is going to see me a lot more often.

Little heads up for the week after though, Monday Sept 7th is Labor Day and we are going to have just morning-afternoon hours since I’ve (Barren Plains) got a show to play in New Kensington that evening with the almighty Dopethrone. Like your music gritty and slow? Dopethrone is for you. Make the trip out and see that show. Come early if you want to see yours truly play some drums. We don’t play often at all. ALSO, if you aren’t going to see Jukebox Bombers tonight, The Indiana Theater has got a live band karaoke going on this evening for those who love to sing their hearts out in front of people, but wish they had the onstage energy of a full band behind them. Go to the Theater’s social media to grab a ticket and find out how you can hit the stage with the band.
