Get your music fix today! It’s Friday and we’re open 11-7pm.

10/28 - MIDWEEK RESTOCK

Back in the office, getting new stuff on the floor and we’ve got Minecraft on cassette. The LPs do well, the CDs do well, so we’ll give the tapes a shot. All you cassette fans, get it quick.

Open til 7pm.

10/26 - WEEKLY HOURS 10/26-11/1

Nothing too crazy different over here hour-wise. Closing at 6 today, but it’s Monday. Sure y’all won’t mind.

We have CDs all over the place right now. I found a few hundred sealed hip hop CDs and close to the same in country CDs while scouring the Backstreet Records hoarder archive aka my storage space. Currently just walking around the store aimlessly playing Tetris to figure out how we will accommodate them all. We’ll be back to cleaning and pricing LPs this week. We still have room for those. For now.

If you don’t have your spooky Halloween music locked in yet, come see us. We have a good bit. What’s your go to Halloween music?

10/24 - NEW LP ADDITIONS

It’s the weekend, so you know what that is around here? Yup, it’s time to put more stock on the floor. Little batch today, but going in on the synthwave stuff still with the latest Perturbator lp (which is awesome, by the way) and some Carpenter Brut. And we have the Minecraft soundtrack back so hurry and get that before we sell out in the matter of a few hours like the last couple of weeks.

It’s Saturday. It’s hot chocolate season. Cheers.
We’re here til 7 pm.

10/23 - NEW RELEASES/REISSUES PART 2

Don’t normally post multiple times in a day, but these came right off of the truck and onto our shelves ASAP, and you should know about them.

NEW REISSUES
- Charli XCX
- Hole
- Julien Baker

NEW RELEASES
- Mental Cruelty
- Spike and the Gimme Gimmes

Get them while they last! Again, a reminder, open until 6pm today.

10/23 - NEW RELEASES/REISSUES

Small amount on the shelves today, more coming in later this afternoon , but here’s what we have of this moment:

NEW RELEASES
- Wolves in the Throne Room (also available on cd) *our pick of the week*

NEW REISSUES
- My Chemical Romance
- the Devil Wears Prada
- Twin Temple

Also, we’ve found a few hundred sealed hip hop and country CDs that we are doing our best to price out ASAP so don’t mind us that our counter is literally stacked 30-40 CDs high, forming a barricade between us and the outside world. We’re just trying to give y’all even more buying options!

It’s Friday. It’s a great fall day, and we are cutting out an hour early, so get here sooner than later. Open til 6 pm.

10/21/2026

10/21 - MIDWEEK CD ADDITIONS

Promised y’all more CDs, and we’re holding ourselves to that. Options expanding in many genres. Growth…we love to see it.

Open today until 7 pm.

10/19/2026

10/19 - WEEKLY HOURS 10/19-10/25

Middle of October, here we are. Y’all increasing your hot beverage quotas yet? If not, head upstairs to our neighbors at Commonplace Coffee and get your fix. Wonderful drinks. Wonderful people.

Pretty normal hours for us this week, minus shaving off an hour on Friday. We want to see Emma Ruth Rundle/All Them Witches that night. Both acts have great new albums this year. Get into it.

Lots of preowned CDs going out is the plan for the week. Where are we going to put them? Yeah, that’s the question we are asking ourselves as well. We’ll get creative.

See you this week.
