Native Plants Now on Sale
Perfect to Plant In Fall 🍂
Think planting season is over? Not even close! Fall is one of the best times to add native perennials to your garden.
Cooler days mean less stress on newly planted perennials, while the soil stays warm enough for roots to continue growing and getting established. That means plants can spend their energy building strong root systems now instead of trying to survive summer heat—and they’ll already have a head start when spring arrives.
Fall-planted natives also mean less watering, less heat stress and a garden that’s ready to wake up and grow next year. Plus, native plants provide important food and habitat for pollinators, birds and other wildlife.
So don't put those garden gloves away just yet! We still have a great selection of native perennials at Stomping Ground, and now is a great time to get them out of their pots and into your garden.
Plant now, water them in well, and let nature do some of the work for you this winter. Your spring garden—and the pollinators—will thank you!
