To allow our staff to celebrate the upcoming holiday weekend with their friends and family, the shop will be CLOSED ON SATURDAY.

We'll still be around until about 5PM on Friday for any locals that want to stop by, but after that we will be gone until our normal business hours on Tuesday. Feel free to email us over the weekend at [email protected] with any tuning questions you may have, and we'll get back to you then!

For those of you sending out your ECUs between now and then, don't worry, there will be no delays for our Mail In ECU Flashing Services next week with the inevitable influx of orders after a three day weekend. We can easily handle over a hundred ECUs per day without issue!

The DNA Stage 2 intake kit uncorks HUGE midrange performance improvements on these bikes, BUT there is some performance losses at the top end of the rev range created by this kit that owners should be aware of when considering one for their own 26+ 690/701!

A full exhaust on these new KTM 690s definitely wakes them up nicely, but proper tuning is definitely a requirement to keep the O2 sensors faults away AND (more importantly) for proper fueling. There's BIG fuel volume adjustments necessary throughout almost the entire rev range!

Stock output is expectedly poor, due to being hamstrung by ever-tightening modern emissions compliance, but we are VERY excited to begin building our custom ECU mapping for all the different intake/exhaust performance parts that are/will be out for these bikes VERY soon!

There's also a pretty good chance that, with proper tuning, the updated engine package for this generation could put out even better power and torque than the prior gen! We'll find out soon enough 😎🤘

The stock fueling of these bikes is ridiculously lean, the throttle mapping leaves a LOT to be desired, AND the ignition advance mapping is overly-advanced in some areas while being unnecessarily re****ed in others. With our custom ECU mapping addressing all of these issues, and each ride mode being properly optimized, the end result is a MUCH smoother, stronger and cooler running engine throughout the entire RPM range!
