I cannot believe how beautiful Zapapa’s winter wools are this year. The coats! The vests! The pants! The bags… ahhh. It is the source of the fabrics - pure high end wovens made in the US and Europe - and it is the exquisite professional sewing by Zapapa’s four incredibly talented artists.

I hope you can make it to our wool (and cashmere and camels hair) season debut — and please let me know what you want for refreshments!

Zapapa Handmade has a stupendous selection of new 100 percent wool, 100 percent cashmere, and 100 percent undyed camel’s hair coats coming to our fall popups. This example is made from 100 percent wool made in CT by American Woolen Company. Perfect fall/winter weight in muted earth tones that remind me of the New England-made woolens of my childhood.

Zapapa Wool season is almost here. Zapapa buys remnant and deadstock wool, cashmere and camels hair fabric from European and US markets and makes coats, vests, pants, dresses, skirts, tops, ponchos and scarves. And they’re amazing — and you can’t find anything like it without paying thousands for garments. Pure wool, pure cashmere, pure camels hair. Keep an eye out for our winter garment debut! Last weekend in September.
