We should all follow the example of this women who really knows how to live her best life..my mom :-) And spend these last weeks of summer in the hammock, soaking up every bit of sun ☀️

These hammocks are handmade in Guatemala. They are seriously the most comfortable hammock I’ve been in. The best way to snooze on a hot sunny day!

Spent the day, yesterday, deep in late summer perennial border clean up. Cutting back daisy that have gone over, giving the hydrangeas a little deadhead to remove the extra crispy blooms, deadheading the roses (a constant and favorite garden task) and weeding. It feels like getting a fresh haircut for the garden.

There are just two tools that I constantly reach for - my Hori Hori, it is the best for weeding, and my Felco 300, I love how light it is in my hand, but still so hard working. Both are available online www.gooutsidelaconner.com
