If you ever doubt that God cares about the details of your life, then you should listen to this story. Today is the 1 year anniversary of when we lost our son, Connor Michael. It is a tough day, but it's also a day to give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, faithfulness, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, and presence for all the moments that make up our journey before we one day spend them all face to face with God. 🙏💗

I was rummaging through the kids' cubbies this morning, and found a notebook that was mine when I was a child. It said "Science" on the outside with tons of stickers. I was curious to see what was inside because I couldn't remember what was in it. I flipped through the pages and I found this. It is Grace's rough draft for her farewell note to Connor. 🥹💔 I'm refreshing the flowers for his grave this week, so they are on the kitchen counter. 💗

It's 2 days until the 1-year anniversary. Good morning, Connor. We love you, little buddy. 🙏👼💗
