🌱Do you plan on using cover crops in your garden this fall? It's time to start thinking about what you want to plant!🌱
A few questions to ask yourself when considering using a cover crop in your garden:
1. What is your goal? (Erosion control, nutrients, organic matter, etc.)
2. How will you eradicate it? (Winter kill, till it in, herbicide, etc.)
3. How are you planting? (Broadcast or Drill)
Cover crops are a great way to build your soil health and are fairly easy to incorporate into your garden plans! If you are new to using cover crops, Groundhog Radish and Austrian Winter Peas are a great place to start, as they winter kill and provide good soil coverage!
