Powell was in search of an integrated automation system for the new home he was building in Mechanicsburg. There were few electronic system integrators in the country and none in this area. Therefore, he and an associate tested the systems which became the basis for OMNI, One of the nation’s first comprehensive system integrator of whole house audio, video, home theater, automation, security, as w

ell as structured wiring for telecommunications and Internet systems. The business now is run by his two sons, Donald Powell, President and Jeff Powell, Vice President. Don Powell, along with two other technicians, are well trained in installation and programming of integrated systems. Jeffrey Powell, Vice President & Sales Manager, is the first contact between Omni Interactive Systems and the customer.
