🐞✨ The Pocket Full of Tomorrows ✨🐞

Every morning, just before the sun
remembered how to shine,

a little ladybug walked the meadow
with empty pockets…

on purpose.

Not for coins.

Not for jewels.

Not for anything that sparkled.

She was collecting tomorrows.

A dandelion wish
that hadn’t learned to fly.

A sleepy sunflower
still dreaming of the morning.

A robin practicing
the very first note of its song.

The scent of rain
resting quietly on the leaves.

A butterfly
finding the courage to unfold.

One by one,

she tucked them safely away.

A curious bunny hopped beside her.

“Why save things that haven’t happened yet?”

The ladybug smiled.

“Because hope always arrives before the bloom.”

The bunny thought about that…

and began filling his own tiny pockets.

With kindness.

With laughter.

With second chances.

With little dreams too shy to be spoken aloud.

By evening,

the meadow hadn’t changed at all.

The flowers were the same.

The trees stood where they’d always been.

The stars rose one by one.

But every heart that carried a pocket full of tomorrows

🐞🌼 The Garden That Waited 🌼🐞

There is a little garden
hidden where the daydreams grow,
where mushrooms wear tiny lanterns,
and every breeze moves soft and slow.

A ladybug visits every dawn,
with a notebook stitched in twine.
She writes down things the hurried miss—

“A robin learned a brand-new song.”
“The daisies bowed to passing rain.”
“One brave seed pushed through the earth…”

She never counts the biggest blooms.

She celebrates the smallest first.

A curled-up fern becoming green.
A butterfly drying new wings.
A raindrop balancing on clover
like the tiniest crystal ring.

One afternoon, a sparrow asked,

“Why do you smile when nothing grand has grown?”

The ladybug laughed so gently
the flowers leaned in to listen.

“Because wonder,” she whispered,
“isn’t something we find…”

“It’s something we choose to notice.”

And from that day on,

the meadow seemed brighter.

Not because the flowers bloomed more.

Not because the sun stayed longer.

But because every creature
began collecting ordinary moments
like they were priceless treasures.

Perhaps they always were.

So today…

Notice the butterfly.

Wave to the wildflowers.

Pause for the bumblebee.

Listen to the rain.
