🌿Another Harvest!🌿
☀️ A beautiful day to be out foraging! Today’s harvest was a plant we call silverw**d. We snap the top part of the stem off by hand, bunch it, and then bring it back to our barn to dry. 🌿 Once the silverw**d is dried it makes for a lovely accent piece in our wreaths! 👀Take a close look at our winter wreaths at our upcoming events and you will see the silvery/green stems! They have a lovely fragrance as well.
🚛 We hope to get some winter wreaths made (if we can get the silverw**d dried in time!) for our upcoming event in 📍St. Charles, MO with the St. Louis VMD 🎉 We will be at the convention center Sept. 18-20

🌾Corn Tassel Harvesting! 🌾
🌻 One product we use to make our wreaths is dried corn tassels. We cut them fresh, and then hang the bunches in our barn to dry til we can use them for wreath making! 🌿It’s one of our long time favorite products to use, it’s sturdy and holds up beautifully. Next time you see one of our fall wreaths look a little closer and you’ll see the dried corn tassel base! 🌾

🎃 Our “go time” is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to hit the road and see your smiling faces! 💛 Super excited to be trying a few new events as well as returning to some long time faves. Where will we see you this fall?! 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♂️
🌆We are super bummed to be missing a few of our usual events! Between show conflicts as well as our own capabilities, we just can’t attend them all! We are hard at work getting new fall items added to our Etsy shop, so y’all will have a chance to get some new things. 🫶🏻

📣We’re back folks!📣
🌸 We have had a lovely summer enjoying some downtime with our friends & family. It’s been a wonderful to recharge and prepare for our upcoming fall season! 💛
🌾An extra special time for us this week in the shop as Chad’s youngest, Tristan, joined us! Chad was teaching Tristan the art of making wreaths. 🌻

🌿🌾Wreath making day! 🌾🌿
🌻We’ve been having fun making wreaths for our upcoming show in Knoxville, TN!

📍 Knoxville Expo Center
🌾 We take a mix of dried flowers, artificial berries, and floral sprays to create one of a kind wreaths! We make the wreaths start to finish, assembly line style. We typically start an audiobook and get the wreath factory cranking! 😅
🌿 The one style of greenery we used today was the pennycress you saw us harvest a few weeks ago! Scroll back a video if you missed it.

🌿Harvest day! 🌿
☀️ It was a beautiful day to pick one of plants that we dry and use to make wreaths! We call it pennycress, and it is a w**d that grows in late spring. Once the flowers have bloomed we can pick it and hang it in our barn to dry. We will later paint it and use as accent pieces in our wreaths! 🌻
🌿 Pennycress is one of our staple products and we have been foraging it for years! It dries beautifully, stays firm, and holds the paint well. We were able to harvest two loads this season! You’ll be seeing this lots in our wreaths later on in the year! 🎉
🐕Bessy loves days we go out harvesting - she ran all over the field chasing bunnies and investigating dens. ❤️
🚛 Our next event is June 5-7 in 📍Knoxville, TN with the - come see us!
