This right here is the best part of teaching music.

A handwritten note from a former student who’s now headed off to college. Knowing that the lessons, encouragement, and opportunities to perform made an impact far beyond just learning guitar means more to me than they probably realize.

This is why I started DC Guitar Studio. It was never just about teaching someone how to play an instrument. It’s about building confidence, giving students opportunities, and hopefully making a difference that sticks with them long after their lessons are over.

Couldn’t be more proud. Keep chasing those big stages!

Success isn't always measured by becoming a professional musician.

Sometimes it's measured by helping someone believe in themselves again.

Joy Kate came to DC Guitar Studio after losing confidence and nearly losing her love for music. Through lessons, performances, encouragement, and hard work, she rediscovered that passion.

Today she's beginning medical school while continuing to write songs and perform.
