‼️‼️Important Info Regarding the Honey Extraction Class‼️‼️ 06/06/26

*The class will start at 1:00pm in the Bee Yard.
*The extraction portion will be held in the kitchen in the house (shop will be closed during this time)
*The class will consist of what to look for when pulling frames, uncapping the frames, honey extraction, straining the honey, bottling, and labeling.
*This is a hands on class where attendees will have the option to participate in all components.
** Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase their very own fresh out of the hive honey before the public. **

*Pizza from Star Pizza in Mayodan will be served (there is no charge for pizza but donations are appreciated)

Enjoyed a wonderful evening in Sparta, NC in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. The Allegheny County Beekeepers hosted Bob Binnie with Blue Ridge Honey Company at Winter Wood Farm . He gave a great presentation on “Old Comb and Toxic Chemistry in our Colonies”. It’s a really great topic for all of us to consider with all the chemicals we (and our bees) encounter daily.
