🌵⛰️ STEEL MAGNOLIAS ON THE ROAD! ⛰️🌵

Yesterday we took a little break from picking and decided to hike at Colorado National Monument.

First of all… it was HOT. Like “whose idea was this and why didn’t anybody stop me?” hot. 😂

But here’s the best part…

Somewhere along the trail I accidentally hit RECORD on my phone and proceeded to record basically our ENTIRE hike without realizing it. So when I watched it back later, I got a front-row seat to what it’s apparently like to travel across the country with me. 🤣

Y’all… I had NO IDEA my ADHD was this bad.

I’m talking about the trail… then a rock… then something I saw 20 feet away… then asking Todd a question… then interrupting myself with “OH LOOK AT THAT!”… then starting another story… then completely forgetting what I was talking about in the first place.

There is NO storyline.
There is NO train of thought.
There isn’t even a train station. 🚂😂

Just me hiking through Colorado narrating EVERY SINGLE THOUGHT that enters my head while poor Todd walks beside me like a man who made a vow 20 years ago and intends to honor it no matter what. 🤣

I always wondered why that man gets so quiet sometimes.

After watching this video back…

I understand now, Todd.

Anyway, Steel Magnolias is still ON THE ROAD! 🚐 We’re picking our way across the country, finding treasures as we go, squeezing in a few adventures along the way…and apparently documenting my untreated career as a full-time trail commentator. 🤣
