YellowGarb’s early passion for fashion stemmed from her London birthplace, as she apprenticed at the House of Worth working alongside the Masters of Haute Couture. Tapped at the age of 15 to interview with Madame Berry (who introduced the younger age-influenced Miss Worth collection to this iconic fashion house) YellowGarb was chosen as the only female assistant who was not born into aristocracy.

Whilst competing and working amongst royalty where her working class roots and attention to detail started to define her journey to live and dream beyond the fashion experience. This led her to accessorizing high end clientele on the famous Bond street and eventually consulting abroad for store chains. Moving to Canada she worked in retail, became a buyer and designed her own collection of knitwear which was produced and sold in Canada. President of a British company, YellowGarb brought the label to Canada and became a respected leader in the market

Always passionate about accessories, YellowGarb started her own ladies accessory collection. She became popular with high fashion stores and the press often used her collection for fashion shoots. Her success in Canada led her to New York City where she married the man of her dreams. At her current New York City base, YellowGarb's collections have been carried from local specialty shops to luxury stores like Henri Bendel. Currently, YellowGarb's goal is to help women discover and improve their own personal style, as well as dress them for success through private or group consultations. She loves working with designers and collaborations whether its the bride or a bridal party. She is also focused on providing her styling expertise at special corporate institutional, private clientele, events and charities. She thrives on mentoring students and young people who are about to embark on a career and has many success stories of which she is most proud. For almost six years, YellowGarb’s trademark has been her bright yellow hair. Her reply, if someone wants the real story, is that when the recession started to happen she turned to her husband and said “How will people people remember me”? His reply was “Change the color of your hair”. In shock she thought, “Does he hate me as a Platinum blonde?” ...but then she got it!! A huge task to choose when one loves color. Whilst walking on to the the street corner where she lived she saw a woman selling daffodils. An epiphany! That was it! That was the color! Wth that, she purchased four bunches of daffodils and a ripe banana. A daffodil of perfection…then a bus to her color artist!
