This Saturday, May 30th, Marilla will be gathering for Memorial Day Services 🇺🇸

The day will include cemetery services in the morning, followed by the parade at 11:00am to the Veterans Memorial on Bullis Road. The parade will pass by the front of Marilla Country Store, so please note that our parking lot may be blocked for a little while during that time.

After the Memorial Service, the community is invited to stay and enjoy Dark Horse Run Band in the gazebo, along with food trucks starting at 11am. Bring the family, enjoy the day, and come have a picnic with us!

We’re proud to be part of such a wonderful community and look forward to honoring the day together. 🇺🇸

One of New York State's oldest and most cherished stores, the Marilla Country Store is a historic treasure that has been open for business since 1851. Located just outside Buffalo, this incredible general store has never closed its doors in over 170 years, surviving wars, pandemics, and blizzards while keeping its old-fashioned charm alive.

The moment you step onto the creaky original wood floors, you are transported back in time. The store is affectionately known as the "Marilla Mall" because it packs an unbelievable variety of goods into two floors. The main level is a paradise for foodies, featuring a massive wall of penny candy, over 500 different types of bulk foods, and famous Amish jams and jellies. Locals also flock here for the deli counter, which serves up huge, fresh subs and wraps perfect for a country picnic.

Upstairs, you will find a beautiful gift shop filled with farmhouse decor, candles, and unique toys. But the real secret is the museum located on the second floor. It is a fascinating walk-through of the store's long history, displaying vintage products, antique tools, and photos that show just how much...and how little...has changed over the last two centuries. Whether you are looking for a nostalgic treat or a unique gift, this place offers a genuine slice of Americana that you just cannot find anymore!
