Cited as a must see in the New York Times travel section, the Paper Moon is a one of a kind book and gift store located in McGregor, Iowa-just one block from the Mississippi River! The historic 1860’s building proudly went green with solar heat in 2009.

​The Paper Moon has been described as “the ultimate in therapy shopping.” The ground floor hosts a unique array of gifts, including beautiful jewelry, a hand-picked line of cards and postcards, toiletries, household accessories, and tons of bizarre and fun stuff! The second level balcony holds new books in a comfortable and charming atmosphere; the third level is 1,000 square feet of children’s books and toys. Inventory is in constant flux and Louise and Jennifer work hard to make sure the store has something for everyone.

​Customer service is very important to staff members at the Paper Moon. They can help with personalized shopping, free gift wrapping, gift certificates, and free delivery in Prairie du Chien, McGregor, and Marquette. Stop by and visit!

Today I woke up with a wave of and I ask you to take a long bath in that energy and to extend it to others today and for the week ahead. The cards tell me you have plans, plans that may not involve others and may cause pain to others, even yourself, and your guides want you to walk in grace moving forward, not conflict. Deep in your heart, your intuition tells you to focus on love, and while you keep moving forward. You don’t have to be defensive. You got this. Slow down, be mindful, as you progress. You have things to do, and you will, with love and compassion for others and more importantly for yourself. Be safe. Be well. And take extra care of yourself. It’s hard out there.

Heavy, heavy energy today and I felt compelled to listen to the stark messages in the Queen Victoria Tarot, the grey that is clouding whoever needs this message because it is full of a lot of heartbreak. For that, I am very sorry. Out of eight cards, five are in the Major Arcana. You may feel like you don’t have any control because honestly, you don’t. What is happening in your life is a lot of change and transformation and you must see all this change from a different perspective because it is meant to be and in the long run for your own good. You may feel like you have lost too much and you feel left out in the cold but trust me because Temperance showed up twice for you. I usually don’t ask for more cards, but just one more from another deck, my most colorful one, and wow, look how beautiful it is. can be your and that’s how I feel about her appearance for you right now. Trust it. You are being held and protected. You are being asked to find your inner strength. You can do this.
