It's awful durn nice out there. I bet your bicycle has been missing the kind of gentle caress only 9.5 fingers can provide. One of the perks of working with Don, he's always nearby.

Aluminum, the plastic of metals. Very often used inappropriately.

A pox on the many people who view our little public bump jumps as their dog's p**p composter. Shame on you all. Gives a guy the idea of getting it on camera and making a point of returning to it's rightful owner with an equal amount of consideration. Disgusting.

Missoula, you're still lovable. Have a great day.

Oh boy, Santiago has thriving hipster bicycle scene. I saw the most armored up bike polo bike I've ever seen. Thick, full spoke protection on one side and , like, half inch thick aluminum rotor shields. It was driving on the highway so I couldn't fully study it but it was beefy. Ton's of fixies skidding everywhere. People actually knew how to hang their bike from tree branches in the manner that allows you to lube/adjust s**t. It was pleasant I tell you. Had to see if Easter Island had the same cycle culture while down there. Even though you could ride everywhere without being all Lance Armstrung, not so much. Some bikes and other cool stuff made it worth going nonetheless. Jajaja. Happy frigging Spring everyone!

If ya'all haven't noticed some weird s**t going on then lucky you. But know this, Mercury has fallen off the wagon and appears to have been hitting the Gatorade pretty hard lately. Keep an eye out for your friends and neighbors and we'll get through this together. Plus some other politically polarizing rhetoric I can't come up with right now because, honestly, I've been drinking a lot of Gatorade myself. Namaste.

Minnesota has always been cool. Cold even. Some of the coolest bike companies. One's that were aware of the financial barriers between ideas and realities but were willing to try. To varying degree's of success from my "humble" perspective. Even when it seemed like said companies had drifted away from cool, they would drift back. Of course, that is what trying is. Staying in the fight. Learning from your licks and exposing yourself to more. They sure are showing the rest of us what trying looks like right now. I'm not there. I can't see everything like I often posture myself to be able to do. Minneapolis, I am impressed. Sometime after it warms up, I shall visit. Your earth, your plants and your air will be wet by my salty tears and they will be in abundance. Stay strong.

So, a unicycling dream is still a cycling dream. Just ask the mono-ciclo. I had a dream about a vey tall man who performed as part of a unicycling group of European clowns. There were several of them. All very talented, Juggling while pedaling. Juggling back and forth while essentially track-standing, bobbing in place. Bouncing balls to each other. Really every ridiculous type of unicycling clown maneuver I could dream up, literally. This tall guy though, he was the only one able to toss footballs from any spot of the arena into a regulation basketball hoop. High spirals, swish. Bank shots, no problem. It was insane. For some reason I felt like I needed to say his talents were meant for the NBA. He could dominate and of course make better money! He was rightfully offended that I said anything. He liked his life and his ability to both provide for and enjoy time with his family. I was disappointed in my own arrogance in the end. I guess the moral is who cares what I think, go fu***ng do you boo!

The days, they be longer.
The warm rays be getting stronger.
I feel it in me and I see it in you.
This mirror, it's becoming clearer...
Pa la mi**da con nuestro p1nche War-monger.
Happy sunny days y'all.

Here we are. Phew. So many people have come through our doors and helped us along the way. Helped us to grow, smile, crash, burn, argue, embrace... basically both given and helped us to swallow this bitter pill called life. We are infinitely grateful for an endless amount of said people. Some of them remain and hopefully feel that gratefulness. Some remain and surely don't, but it's there nonetheless. Our dear leader. The one who has spoken so disrespectfully of my and everyone's families... the one who prompted a sign in our window even though we recognize the futility of the other option; has brought to the surface the memory of the summer of Los Colombianos. For those of you who remember Alejandro and Carlos and the pure joy they spread to us, you should also remember John Ikon. You'd be lucky to if so, John is a real one and I'll be damned if Trump didn't prompt a message to rekindle a very special relationship brought to us by this bike shop. Our door may not always be unlocked but it is, as it has been, for now, always open. We thank all of you and the Universe itself for passing through the portal that is our front door.

Happy this time of year! Remember this is a time to appreciate each other and reflect deeply on the evils inherent in the lust for power ie wealth. Being kind to each other demands we look at ourselves, to the best of our abilities, in how we can be more kind to those we do not see. Since I can't see any of you, hugs to all y'all.

I tell my co-workers at the airport that if we were in Mexico, music would be pumping, we'd all be singing along and whistling. Basically, "la vida es una fiesta que un dia termina." IFYKYK Well I didn't audit any airports but I did have a very non USA trip to the dentist. Mind you, not one of the dentists advertising to US customers ore even one catering to the gr**go crowd. One where you go in after hours because your niece is finishing her dental studies. You got the entire facility to yourself. It's me, Marlana, my niece Paulina and the dentist sent to me by by the Lord himself, Angel. After a few minutes of american country music, I asked if we could change the music. I appreciated the gesture though, gr**go from Montana I might have started there too. "What kind of music do you like?" "Reggaeton," I said. I spent the next three evenings in my own private dentist office trying not to dance while I was in the chair. My niece singing every word to every song that came on, dancing and having fun while sucking whatever was being grinded on or drilled out of my mouth. People were happy, kind and the best part: not greedy. Make America Mexico Again! Never forget that, cabrones!
