“oh my GOSH! I love this. I’d love to get one, but it’s out of my budget” - vs. - “cute. But you’re way too expensive”. .⬇️
I get both versions of these comments all the time.
And ultimately, while different vibes, they can both mean the same thing. It all just comes down to not only the way it’s written, but also the way you decide to look at it.

It used to hurt my feelings a bit when people would say my work was “too expensive”. Because I put a lot of time & hard work into my pieces.
It would make me feel like others were trying to put me & the items down.
And it took time for me to also realize, hey, while there are some not-so-nice people out on the interwebs, some people just may not express themselves the way that I do.

It all comes down to your perception, and even tho I do understand sometimes these comments may seem like backhanded compliments (and heck, yeah, some absolutely are😅), I choose to remind myself that my work isn’t for everyone for all variations of reasons, & that’s perfectly okay! 🫶🏻

This goes out for a reminder not only for myself, but also for anyone else who may see this (buyer or seller), that you can choose to leave comments either way.. and you can choose to take those comments to heart in a negative or a positive way🙂🫶🏻

Hello from Mother & Father Wicked 😘 We are heading into our August hook drop shortly! Only 30 mins left.
A few updates:⬇️
✨We will not be live for the drop - today we are celebrating family at a birthday party 🙂
✨We updated the larger sizes 6.5mm - 10mm to include Basic Metal, Susan Bates & Clover as hook option! The clovers are the plastic as that is what is offered for those sizes. 🙌🏻
✨We WILL be live this evening around 7 pm est to have an
🖤AFTER SALE TODD TALK🖤 .. we have things to discuss🤭

The sale goes live at 4 pm est on our website - the page will be down until then. After, it will be on the page titled HOOK DROP

Please remember there are no cart holds, and that we do combine orders 🫶🏻

Would you use one of these crochet hooks? A little FRIYAY Sneak Peek time!🙌🏻
These are carved wooden crochet hooks BEFORE the hook metals have been placed.
We offer our hooks so that the customer sees the size the hook will be and they choose the metal type they would like to be placed for them🫶🏻
We will be doing a LIVE hook showing tonight at 7 pm est.
This will go over all of the goodies we will have available for this Sundays drop!

We only have 2 more on hand RTS sales this year!
This Sunday August 30th and then one in September.
After that we are doing our in person event in October on Saturday the 24th, in Monroe Michigan.
Followed by our Spooky Pre-Order🎃

This Sundays drop will be at 4 pm est
