End of summer was fun! 😅
I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy but originally it started out as suspicion. Well after many blood draws later, it turned out the fears were coming true. A full on ectopic pregnancy.
I really thought 1 dose of methotrexate would be the end of it. Which that is the medicine they use to stop the pregnancy from growing which can ultimately lead to really bad things.
And Instead by the end of it all, I went through 5 ER visits, 3 doses of medication, weeks of blood draws and uncertainty, and STILL ended up in surgery with major fears I’d lose a tube.
Lots of prayer, lots of relying on God and knowing He knows best, and an AMAZING support system, we finally made it and are clear of danger. I ended up in surgery and all went well and nothing went wrong Praise the Lord!
When doctors came out of surgery, they completely shocked by what they found.
Turns out, mine wasn’t a typical ectopic pregnancy at all. I somehow ended up being one of those “1 in a million” type cases that no one really expects to see.
It’s been a wild end to the summer, and there’s a whole lot more to this story than I could fit into one post.
Should I do the full story time? 👀
