I had lofty goals for Big Red Books. I might have accomplished half of them, but I tried my best to build community, support authors, and be a good representative of Nyack.

My departure is truly bittersweet, but I’ll take with me the words of civil rights activist Dr. Benjamin E. Mays: “The tragedy of life does not lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach.”
