Growing up in Southeast Texas and away from extended family, my Mama wanted to be sure we had close relationships with our Grandparents by sharing cookies. The cookie box I created was a plain, white box that I decorated with scraps of ribb

on and fabric. I mailed it to my grandma Jojo, and asked if she could send it back filled with her homemade Chocolate Chip cookies . This became a tradition of Jojo sending cookies in the cookie box and me sending back an empty box and awaiting more. Years later, the tradition shifted and I was the one sending Jojo home baked treats, and to this day I still send them to Papa and other beloved family & friends. This tradition unlocked a new passion for me, The Cookie Box which is creating personalized and custom designs for customers to share. It's a way to show the ones we love, colleagues, who are near and far that we are thinking of them and want them to enjoy a delicious, personalized treat.

A reminder that we are CLOSED today for Labor Day. It’s the last little holiday break until we head into the busiest time of year for the bakery.

The BOX is OPEN Saturday & Sunday 12pm-6pm. And you can stay in the cool AC of your vehicle to grab your freshly baked cookies.

The BOX will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th in honor of Labor Day. So if you are fortunate enough to be off of work on Monday, make sure you grab your cookies the day before and then you can really take advantage of your day off and chill while eating our delicious cookies.

Friday of a Holiday weekend! Woo Hoo! Are you staying in town this weekend? You need Cookies! Are you headed to the lake this weekend? You need Cookies! Support your local small businesses this holiday weekend and we hope we make the list! Several specials today like the chewy churro, Oreo buttercream, and brookie.
