🌲 THE WOODLAND CALLS AGAIN... 🌲

Grab your cloaks, sharpen your claws, and dust off the war table: three brand-new factions are marching into the Woodland, and two new maps await!

🐸 The Lilypad Diaspora: Long scattered, they just want to come home... peacefully, if the Woodland will let them. But with weapons at the ready, even the smallest misunderstanding could ignite something much bigger.

🦉 The Twilight Council: Tired of the endless fighting, this ragtag assembly of mice, birds, and everything in between gathers to talk it out instead of duking it out. Political connections matter more than warriors here — democracy, Woodland-style.

🦇 The Knaves of the Deepwood: Nobody quite knows their origin story (and honestly, the rumors are wild), but these forest-dwelling rascals raid barracks, sn**ch warriors for ransom, and throw legendary parties with the proceeds deep in the trees. Mischief has never looked so charming.

Explore it all on the expandable Marsh map or the tricky new Gorge map; new terrain, new alliances, new chaos.

🐉 PLOT TWIST! 🐉

The knights have rallied, the dragon has been spotted, and SideQuest Games is off on a family adventure of our own today, which means we're CLOSED!

We know, we know... no dice rolling, no shelf browsing, no epic showdowns at the tables today. But every good campaign needs a rest day, and today's ours. 🏰

This also means our Community Board Game Night is on pause for the week. But fear not, fellow adventurers, the quest resumes soon! We'll be back open tomorrow, Friday 9/4, from 11am–8pm. Come find us then, or any day we're open, and we'll get a game going with you.

🎲 Quest Update, Adventurers! 🎲

Starting September 8th (right after we celebrate Labor Day together...yes, we're open that day!), SideQuest Games is rolling out our new Autumn Hours.

Here's the deal: our fearless crew has some school-related side quests of their own this season, so Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays we'll be taking a little mid-day breather from 3–5pm. We know, we know...nobody wants to show up mid-battle and find the doors to the castle locked. We're sorry for the inconvenience! 🙇‍♂️

But don't worry, the good news is we're back to closing at 9pm those same nights, so your evening game runs are safe. And Tuesdays & Wednesdays we're closed entirely to regroup (even NPCs need rest days).

The full scroll of hours:
🗓️ Mon, Thu, Fri : 10am–3pm & 5–9pm

🗓️ Sat : 11am–9pm
🗓️ Sun : 11am–6pm

⚠️ One more quick side quest: we'll actually be CLOSED this Thursday, 9/3 for family/school reasons, which means our weekly Community Board Game Night is canceled this week. We're bummed too! But swing by Wednesday, or really any day we're open, and we'll happily get a game going with you. 🎉

Roll on in today for a full day of games, friends, and good chaos:

Grab a table, crack open something from the shelf (or bring your own), and play the day away. All ages, all games, zero pressure.

🍺 RED DRAGON INN NIGHT | 5 – 8 PM
When the sun goes down, the tavern doors open. Outlast your buddies, manage your gold, and try to be the last one still standing (13+ event. No actual alcohol served, we promise 🎭).

🍺 RED DRAGON INN NIGHT IS TOMORROW 🍺
Saturday, 8/29 | 5–8 PM

Adventure's over, the quest is done, and the party's celebrating the only way heroes know how... by seeing who can still stand at closing time.

Red Dragon Inn is a hilarious card game where your job isn't slaying dragons anymore, it's outlasting your drinking buddies. Manage your gold, your hand of cards, and your "fortitude" as you gamble, brawl, and drink your way through the night. Last adventurer still conscious (and still holding their coin) wins!

⚔️ D&D fans: if your favorite part of the campaign is what happens after the dungeon, this is your game.
🐇 Monty Python fans: think Tim the Enchanter meets a rowdy tavern crawl. The absolute chaos and "it's just a flesh wound" energy? It's all here.

New to the table? No problem, we're happy to teach! We'll have a big cast of characters on hand to choose from, or bring your own crew if you've got a favorite.

📢 A couple notes:

This event is 13+, matching the game's recommended age rating (there are alcohol and gambling themes throughout).
No actual alcohol will be served. The drinking is strictly in-character. 🎭

🐉 Bonus: We'll have a limited number of copies of the NEW Red Dragon Inn 10 on the shelves. First come, first served!

You're a citizen of Squall's End on a rescue mission; save as many stray cats as you can from the island before the evil Lord Vesh arrives! Draft cards to explore the island, rescue cats, uncover treasures, befriend Oshax, and learn ancient lessons for bonus scoring. The real challenge? Fitting every rescued cat onto your boat like a purrfect puzzle, all while keeping cat families together! 😻
