Games, Toys, and Gifts...
Find your Happy place! We continued to carry many of these items until January of 2021. We also have Art kits and supplies.

We started out as a gift shop in August of 1988 with candles, old fashioned candy, gourmet coffee beans, gifts and more. Our navigation through the pandemic months of 2020, helped us to reassess our 30+ year old business. In January we made the decision to reduced our inventory selection to the best of the best, create a gathering space, and begin to offer events throughout the year, such as game nights. Our streamlined selection includes children's and inspirational books, taper candles, toys, games, plush, puppets, whole bean coffee, dip mixes, hand made soaps, and a wide selection of bulk candy and chocolates. Our Rubber Stamps and beading supplies are now back stock, rather than open stock. As always we are happy to special order the items you need. We also offer a variety of crafting classes for groups, or one on one. (check our page for what is on the schedule. Don't see a class you want? think about reserving an a la cart time.) Some of the lines we carry The World's Softest Socks, Folkmanis Puppets, The Puppet Company, Northern Lights Candles, SallyeAnder Soaps (including No Bite Me), Stewarts Crafts Soaps, Kiss a Prince soaps, AbbeyGift, EDC books, Peter Pauper Press, Carma Games, The Good Game People, Haba, Hape, Plus Plus, Wiki Stix, Stone Craft, Gault, University Games, eeboo, Crazy Aarons, Asmodee, Smart Toys, Mobi, Funny Mat, Mercantile made cards, and Leanin' Tree greeting cards and much more (including new lines ordered off and on throughout the year)
We will continue to have a wide selection of Christmas ornaments, especially ones you can have personalized! We are also creating a private classroom, that can be used for classes or a special gathering. Stop by and chat with us about our renewed space.

After Helene devastated North Carolina, a creative group that meets at The Mercantile, wanted to come up with a fundraiser to send aid. We have had a rack of handmade cards since then. With 100% of the proceeds being sent in $500 dollar increments , to a variety of non profit entities. We started with MANA foodbank of Ashville, and have also sent monies to Meals on Wheels of Anderson. At their last meeting, they voted to join us for the month of October and send all the proceeds to DABO's ALL IN Team Foundation, along with what we have collected with PINK OUT PENDLETON.
