Our needlepoint shop offers canvases, threads, books, accessories, and classes, all run by dedicated volunteers and staff. Family Arts Needlework Shop is a non-profit, full service needlepoint shop, offering a wonderful selection of canvases, threads, books, accessories and classes. Family Arts is fortunate to have an in-house painter, who will take your idea or design and transform it into a wonderful piece to stitch. It is a destination for stitchers from all over Arizona and beyond who come to find that special thread, canvas, or participate in one of our many classes.

These deserve a moment in the spotlight. ✨🪡

Every one of these incredible pieces was hand embroidered by the amazingly talented Oscar Garcia. From the individual hairs of the lion’s mane and the intricate stripes of the zebra to the delicate feathers of the cardinal—just look at that detail! 🤯

Each piece takes months of meticulous hand embroidery to complete, with countless stitches coming together to create artwork that looks almost lifelike. These aren’t simply embroidered pieces—they’re true works of art, created with patience, precision, and extraordinary talent.

These two gorgeous Rebecca Wood stocking cuff canvases have officially made their way from canvas to masterpiece! 🎄🪡❤️ Every stitch, texture, embellishment, and little detail was thoughtfully curated to bring these designs to life—and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out.

Now they’re off to the finishers for their final transformation into beautiful Christmas stockings! We can’t wait to see the finished pieces hanging up for the holidays. 🎅🏼✨

What an incredible three days we’ve had at Family Arts Needlework Shop with Sherry Bray — the National Queen of Bling! 👑✨

Our stitchers brought in some truly marvelous canvases, and Sherry helped bring each one to life with creative stitches, gorgeous textures, dimensional techniques, beads, embellishments, and, of course… plenty of sparkle! 💎🪡
