The 80th NC Apple Festival is in the books ๐ŸŽ. This was not our best festival, but it was close and we are so very grateful for everyone who helped make it a success. ๐•‹โ„๐”ธโ„•๐•‚ ๐•๐•†๐•Œ!

This was a hard one and I believe the crazy heat played a big part. That said, it was all about the "smalls", and a LOT of them. In total, we sold 118 pieces, only 4 of which were over $100. We started the weekend with 2 1/2 twenty-seven gallon totes full of smalls. At the end, we packed one full tote. We also sold 49 of my painted tins ๐Ÿ˜ณ so yeah, we have a LOT to do before our next show.

This weekend brought 90ยฐ+ temperatures, pop-up storms, repeat customers (and many new ones), visits from family, friends (new and old), stories, laughs, too many fried apple pies (lol), unexpected drama and the best vendor neighbors we could hope for.

Next up for us will be Art in Autumn
on September 19th in Weaverville, NC. We'll have a lot going on between now and then....maybe a short pickin' trip ๐Ÿ˜‰. Stay tuned.

Day three of the NC Apple Festival was an interesting one. The early part of the day was much busier than we expected for Sunday. Then, this afternoon we got that rain storm that missed us yesterday, and it was a good one. Heavy downpour and wind caused us to close down for a little while, but we had a pretty nice sale right in the middle of it and the shoppers were still out when we reopened.

I snapped the last photo when we shut down for the day and actually hadn't noticed just how sparse our booth is looking. If you haven't been out yet, we'll be back tomorrow and open until the parade starts. ๐ŸŽ

Day three of the NC Apple Festival ๐ŸŽ is underway! It's shaping up to be a beautiful day, with slightly lower temps and less humidity. It's the perfect day to come out while all the vendors are still here. It's the final day for the vendors above the courthouse, they close at 8pm tonight.

We'll be here until around 7:30 pm and we'll be here tomorrow until the parade.

It's a beautiful morning here in Hendersonville, NC at the NC Apple Festival . It's a very comfortable 74ยฐ and we've been told we're in the perfect shady spot. Festivities officially kickoff at 10am but the street has already started to fill up.

We had a brief shower yesterday, and will probably have another one this afternoon, but don't let that stop you. There's plenty great stuff to see (and eat ๐Ÿ˜‰), so come on down! We will be here today until around 8pm.

Let me just say, the past few days have been r-o-u-g-h. Between the oppressively hot weather, scrambling to get the booth restocked AND get ready for the NC Apple Festival , we've pretty much hit our limit.

I know I said there wouldn't be anymore sneak peeks, BUT Hubby finished up these pumpkin cans right before we loaded the truck today. New this year....the two in first photo, made from fire extinguishers. These aren't the best pictures, but you get the idea. We only have 16 this time, so come early for the best selection.

If you're making plans to come out to the festival, put on some sunscreen, wear a hat and stay hydrated. It's gonna be a hot one. We are located between Truist Bank and Main Street Baptist Church.

See you soon! ๐ŸŽ

Early mornings, long days and late nights. That's been our schedule for the past couple of weeks. So much of that time has been spent creating for our upcoming art shows, it felt like our booth at the Antique To***co Barn had been neglected a little.

July and August were really good for us, so we wanted to be sure we took care of our booth before the Labor Day weekend. It was tough, but we did manage to get together a full van load yesterday, and now we finally feel our booth is ready for the weekend. Zoom in on the photos, we took in a lot of interesting pieces today. Better yet, if you need a break from the holiday festivities, drop on by and check it out on person. The Barn is open regular hours all weekend, 10am-6pm.

As for us, you can find us Friday thru Sunday (and until the parade on Monday) at the in Hendersonville, NC.

Have a great holiday weekend!

One more full day of work in the shop and we'll be ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ด๐˜ต ready for the NC Apple Festival . That said, this will be our final sneak peek before setup because tomorrow will be all about a booth restock at the Antique To***co Barn and then we have to get the truck loaded.

We hope you'll add the Apple Festival and shopping at the Barn to your holiday weekend plans. Once we get our final booth assignment at the Festival, I'll post our location and stay tuned for photos from our restock at the Barn, we're taking a van load ๐Ÿ˜‰.
