Botanically Bundle Dyed Trail Blaze with flower dyed cotton. Today on my walk I saw baby goslings, fresh tree buds, a couple of hawks and so, so much green. On yesterday’s walk, I saw a couple of turtles sunnjng themselves, some groundhogs, and lots of chatty red-winged blackbirds. I love this time of year.

Cyanotype toned with marigolds from my garden on cotton. I love combining processes and interests and have some projects in the works that excite me! This piece found a new home yesterday at the Modern Craft Market. We’re here again today at the Market from 10 AM-6 PM and would love to see you!

Our next naturally dyed basket weaving workshop listing is live! A collaborative workshop between .baskets and where we’ll be naturally dyeing our reed with plants and flowers and weaving up hanging baskets with your own unique colors and patterns over a two part workshop on April 1st and April 3rd. I’ve been soaking up some sun in Arizona and New Mexico, hiking, spending time with family and friends,
+ some desert basket weaving. Speaking of baskets, .baskets and I will be announcing our next naturally dyed basket weaving workshop this Thursday! Probably at 6 PM EST if I have enough cell service. Stay tuned if you’re interested as spots are limited to 8 participants and dates are April 1 and April 3rd, 6-9 PM. Also, Spring and start of summer workshops will be announced next week! Oh, and I’m excited to be exhibiting at the Modern Craft Market March 27-29. New work coming soon!

I’m here at the American Made Craft show in Baltimore this weekend! Lots of new cyanotypes, naturally dyed quilted wall hangings and some botanically toned/dyed cyanotype mash-ups as well. I’ve met so many nice and cool new people and love hearing about so many peoples’ connections to Pittsburgh! Today, 10-6 pm and Sunday, 11-5 PM. There are 400+ artists here and a huge showing of Pittsburgh friends. Looking forward to meeting more new art/ craft enthusiasts over the next couple of days and hoping to have a chance to really walk around and check out the incredible work here. Booth #1018

Laid out some of my naturally dyed fabrics with surface designs to pair up with some full color and cyanotype panels and liked the little flat lay. When I feel stuck, sometimes I do things like this to move the needle a bit. I haven’t posted anything this year, but I have been making and experimenting a lot as this helps my heart and my brain when things feel like a lot. I’ve been working on making new collections for the American Made Craft show in Baltimore (Feb 20-22) and Modern Craft Market (March 27-29.) I’ve also been teaching workshops at my studio, , and an Intro to Natural Dyes Series at . Plus, working on some botanically toned cyanotypes, naturally dyed baskets, ice dyed fabrics, snow dyeing and some teeny tiny weavings. Hope you are doing something that keeps your heart full or helps you find a rhythm through the noise. 💛

Whoo! It’s the final push for the busy season; between now and Sunday, I’m teaching two workshops, setting up at 2 x pop-up markets, + hosting a last minute studio sale! After that, I’m settling in to make some of my own gifts, and then getting cozy and slow for a bit. Check out the schedule if you are still looking for some last-minute gifts.

It’s day! We have been rolling since 9 this morning, but I’m just getting around to this post because it has been busy. We’ll be here for four more hours until 6 PM. We’re in booth #6 and I brought lots of new one-of-a-kind pieces plus some classics. Thanks everyone who have already stopped by!

A selection of new one of a kind cyanotype patch beanies are available now in my shop! Each patch is cut, coated, exposed to light with pressed botanicals on top, rinsed, pressed, and sewn onto organic cotton beanies. Natural, navy and gray with a couple more colors to come. I will also be bringing some to and other holiday shows and pop-ups after that. Thanks to the couple of you that snapped some up before I even got to post that they were live. Appreciate you all, especially on small business Saturday.✨💙✨
