Chez Lapin Artisanal Soy Candles and Natural Skin-Care We are Chez Lapin, artisan producers of Soy Candles and Natural Skin Care.

Our mission is to inspire eco-concious, cruelty-free and natural living by handcrafting products that people can feel good about having in their home and on their bodies. We hand-blend, pour, and label our candles in our Pittsburgh home studio using sustainable soy, phthalate-free perfume oils infused with essential oils, and cotton braided wicks. We pride ourselves on our inspired artisan-ship, ethical production, and accessible prices.

Our Candle Refill event is TOMORROW, September 11, 4-7pm!

Yesterday you voted on what fragrances we’ll be pouring:

Cidre (Apple, Orange, spices)
Smoked Sandalwood & Leather (Sandalwood, Patchouli)
Weathered Bergamot (vanilla, bergamot, dried to***co)
Pumpkin Spice Latte (of course 😏)

We’ll be ready to fill your own vessels and have a nice variety in our community collection.

In addition to candle and skin care refills, we will be featuring a MAKE YOUR OWN PERFUME for the first time!

BYO Bottle (or enjoy one of ours for a small fee) and we’ll mix you up an eau-de-parfum that smells just like your favorite candle.

See you tomorrow (and be sure to hit the thrift store tonight for cute pumpkin jars!)

We’ve got two new room sprays for the fall based on your wonderful feedback!

Enjoy both Sweet Pumpkin and Anjou & Figue in a Parfum d’Intérieur spray.

(Honestly, we were ready to make just Sweet Pumpkin, but Anjou & Figue was a runaway winner!)

Anjou & Figue was crafted to channel the transition of warm Summer days to crisp Autumn mornings.

The blend of vibrant seasonal fruits like fig and pear are warmly softened with the delicate fragrance of Earl Grey.

It checks all of the seasonal requirements and is an absolute must for any Autumn gathering or gift.

Instead of the normal 4-ounce bottle, we’ve packaged them in 2-ounce bottles so you can enjoy both.

Find them in the Autumn Shop on our website or at our Candle Refill Event next Friday, 9/11!

We’ve officially started pouring only fall candles, which means we’ve also started pouring fall Farmers Market fragrances!

The first batch is Spiced Honey Butter.
She’s buttery, caramelly, salty, and spicy. But also creamy and sweet. It is DELIGHTFUL!

They’ll be available in limited quantity at the Bloomfield Saturday Market Bloomfield Saturday Market and Mount Lebanon Mt. Lebanon Uptown Market - both this Saturday. AND we’ll put some online too, to kickstart the season with our friends afar.

Don’t miss out on it if you love the sounds of it - as of now, this is our only batch! 🧈🍯

Bonjour September!

Now that Fall is “here” 😏 we’re looking forward to some new events in our line up this month.

We’re adding to the Uptown MTL Farmers' Market roster biweekly through the end of the season, hosting our Fall Candle Refill of course, and returning to Sewickley and Squirrel Hill for some of our favorite events.

I’m personally ready for the early fall produce shift and upping my C***r and bonfire game.

We’re making PERFUMES!

You read that right. At our upcoming Candle Refill Event on 9/11, we’ll have a few dozen perfume bottles for you to fill up with your new favorite eau de parfum. Choose one of our fragrances, choose one of our bottles or bring your own, we’ll do the mixing et voila!

The heat’s tapering down… some flora is already starting to turn… and while I don’t rush seasons and am always practicing presence- the reprieve from the heat and a late summer breeze is poetic and certainly welcomed.

Fall is upon us - just a few weeks away. Two in-house events scheduled. Several new product releases scheduled. Lots of harvest and baking and good, spicy smelling joy to be had!
