Putting the sport back in sport-touring! Will’s new fillet brazed road bike sits at the nexus of artistic style and classic function. Will provided the vintage Campy bits and cockpit parts. Built around the always stellar Racer Medium brakes with tires, the bike will zip along. (The carbon wheels are not the final choice so don’t worry about the carbon surface with the pads) I made the front lowrider rack to breakdown flat for travel and fit small front bags. handled the special paint which keeps the project fun and unique.

Made in St Johns, Oregon for a messenger in SF. Single speed Paragon dropouts, Deda tubing, Long Shen lugs and fork crown. Designed with long reach calipers in mind.
Black powder coat finish with reflective red graphics.
⅜” fillet brazed chromoly Porteur rack. 13x11” platform.
1” silver Chris King 2Nut headset.
High fl**ge Phil Wood hubs with double fixed rear. 18t and 15t cogs. Campy Omega 19 rims. 32h.
Specialized 700x23 tires. Could use up to 700x28 tires.
Dura Ace 7710 track cranks and BB. 165mm arms. 47t Dura Ace ring.
Suntour Superbe pedals, MKS clips and Toshei double leather straps.
Nitto Dynamic II stem. 110mm. Silver alloy bars. Black cotton tape and Shimano front lever. Shimano front brake.
Campy aero seatpost with Brooks Professional S honey saddle.

Thanks to everyone who showed up at the Abernathy Bike Fair last Saturday! It’s great to see the community show up to make our little corner of Portland a little wonderful place. donated some new helmets for kids. 🔧and I helped fix up kids bikes people brought by. ☕️provided coffee which was powered by batteries ⚡️. raffled off so many prizes which the kids loved! There was live music as people tried out the new traffic garden. Thanks for showing up and for riding your bike!

John’s new ADV-D fillet ready for some action. Full pipes with the last pair of sliders I’ll probably ever build with. Ready to shred with 29x2.3” clearance, full bikepacking attachment points, fork and a custom stem to hold the Ti bars. Every once in a while, I want what the customer asks for and this is one of those times.
