(1)

Their passion for saving books (aided by Michelle's degree in English Literature) developed over many years, during which time they cultivated a deep partnerships with libraries & recycling centers whose discarded books go to face the landfill & die. Their passion for rescuing these books & transforming them into something new drives them. Founded in 2004, Attic Journals is on a mission to give books new life, not necessarily in their previous form. Each book retains its original character & charm, then dependent on specific materials, they are transformed into notebooks, garlands, coasters & even earrings! Our customers appreciate the added functionality of our repurposed books, as well as the undeniably academic look & feel they bring into their homes. Nostalgia runs rampant at Attic Journals! Seeing as each product is unique, they impart a particularly rich history to share with their new owners. You won’t find the same item twice, so act fast & capture the memories of long forgotten books to enjoy every day. Do you have a special book languishing in a drawer somewhere? With their bespoke services, Attic Journals can repurpose that special book into something useful in you everyday life, while preserving memories for future generations.

Truly… it’s what we live for…

Each week we post hundreds of new journals to our website. All of them unique. All of them requiring their own individual page on our site. As such, we've opted to scan each one, not photograph them.

Scanning and embossing are just not good for one another.

Want an embossed journal? Come see us in person at a local event or pop into one of our retail partner's shops! Embossing and Attic Journals are besties in spite of what you see on our site!

Take a wild guess how many school librarians we've coordinated with so far this year? If you guessed 52, you'd be 100% correct!

I'm a basic pedicure kinda girlie. My kid likes all the bells & whistles. While she gets daggers adhered to her fingertips, I spend a quiet moment in the massage chair writing out my to-do list for the week.

We love using up the pages just about as much as you love stealing your kid's Halloween candy.
