How many record stores are in Portland Oregon?

I love this so much but on the flipside I'm dealing with non-stop mental health issues at mine, so why would you even come to VRP anymore? Vinyl Resting Place has been dying a slow death for 2 years now. It has never let up since March of 2024. I can no longer buy collections which in return makes my inventory less desirable. I know I continue to talk about closing and there has been a lot of "close already then" remarks. It has become this toxic cycle.

Just for the record (pun intended) I have been refusing to do any interviews. The court records were released and the news outlets ran with it anyways. There is a lot of misinformation out there regarding me and the shop. I have been searching for a new location yes. But meanwhile I've honestly been hoping things would improve and I would just quit the search.

Please stop leaving negative reviews on Google & Yelp when I'm not open. I have to protect myself, I have to do what makes sense to me to keep VRP & myself alive. If you think you can do better make me an offer and I'll sell it to you.

My behavior lately has not been ok. I would like to take a moment to apologize for how I've treated people in my life. I am now seeking the help I need. With that being said I hope no one finds themselves in a situation like mine but maybe, just maybe I can be a little help for others if you do. On Thursday the 27th an individual was so angry after I declined to purchase records that they tried to set the building on fire with me in it. I realize this mental health crisis situation is a very complex issue. With that being said I am at my personal end with it. I have tried everything possible and there seems to be no solution to the problem.

The news of Parton's passing was announced on her social media accounts by her nephew, Brian Seaver.

"I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now," he said in an video post shared to Instagram.

Her most recent album 'Rockstar' included collaborations with metal alumni Rob Halford, Nikki Sixx, and John 5.
