You GUYS!!! Meet CAMERON! Who is Cameron you ask? I’m so GLAD you did!
Cameron is our newest TEAM MEMBER at The Collective and, as you MIGHT EXPECT, he is so much more.
First and foremost, he is the MR. to the AMAZING MRS. Isle of View Arts, Michele Downie, the YIN to her YANG, Chief Operating Officer & SUPPORT staff at their humble ABODE.
Cameron has DEEP and WIDE roots in our area and is even the NAMESAKE of his grandfather Ronald Cameron Downie, one of the KEY FIGURES in the REVITALIZATION of our riverfront and a former Chairman of the Schuylkill River Greenway.
Cameron is a former BALLET dancer, growing up in his family’s dance school. After an injury left him unable to continue dancing professionally, he sought to answer the question himself. What Cameron learned is he is IMMUNE to the bounds any label might bring. More than a DABBLER and a DILLETANTE he brings a certain mastery to all of his PURSUITS and those pursuits are many.
He builds beautiful custom wood frames for Michele’s original works of art (and he can do it for YOU too). He grows unusual plants and abundant, fresh food in his gardens. He plays musical instruments and can repair a violin.
While Cameron might cast off many labels, one that seems woven into his fabric is NURTURING. You GUYS!!! L’OE AND BEHOLD!!!Nicole McGonigal Art has SET THE STANDARD for capturing ICONIC places and moments in Pottstown. Her L'oe Show inspired pieces are already creating quite the BUZZ and her VW Jester painting in front of The Very Best Weiner Shop already SOLD! This piece features one of the SIGNATURE cars from Jamie Orr’s own collection in front of Argento’s. You can see this piece in the window at The Collective. Nicole has made T-shirts featuring her own VW’s and LANDMARKS from our downtown. Prints, postcards, and greeting cards are also available. Be sure to check them out when you’re in town for the Pottstown Nights Car Show and the L’oe Show this weekend!
