First Friday is here!

🎉 FIRST FRIDAY POUGHKEEPSIE IS HERE! 🎉

Downtown Poughkeepsie comes alive TONIGHT - Friday, June 5 - starting at 6 p.m. for an evening of food, art, music, shopping, and community. Whether you're meeting friends, bringing the family, or exploring downtown for the first time, there's something happening around every corner during our soft relaunch event.

📍 Start at Mural Square (253 Main Street), the event's home base, then stroll downtown and discover local shops, galleries, restaurants, and businesses offering special experiences throughout the evening.

🎶 Enjoy live performances throughout the night, plus face painting, raffles, and yard games. Hungry? Downtown restaurants, cafes, breweries, and eateries will be serving up plenty of options along the way.

🚗 Getting here is easy! Free parking begins at 6 p.m. in the Financial Plaza Garage, Liberty Street Lot, and along Main Street. All downtown streets will remain open to traffic, and portable restrooms will be available adjacent to Mural Square.

✨ First Friday is free to attend. and open to everyone. Come experience the vibrant spirit of the Queen City and help welcome First Friday back to Downtown Poughkeepsie!

31 South Clinton St has officially made history! 📜✨

We are thrilled to share that our property has received an official historical marker, thanks to an incredible project by Arlington High School students and a generous grant from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation.

The marker was officially unveiled by the students, with some wonderful community leaders in attendance to celebrate, including Mayor Yvonne Flowers, 6th Ward Councilman Christopher Grant, and Poughkeepsie Library Historian Shannon Butler. 🏛️👏

The History: This marker honors 31 South Clinton St as the childhood home of Dr. Sarah Josephine Baker. Dr. Baker was a groundbreaking pioneer in public health, dedicating her career to reducing infant mortality rates in the immigrant communities of NYC. She is also famously known for tracking down Mary Mallon (infamously known as "Typhoid Mary").

We are incredibly proud to manage a property with such a rich legacy and a deep connection to public health history right here in the City of Poughkeepsie! 🧱❤️

POUGHKEEPSIE'S FUTURE IS HAPPENING NOW! We just learned: Poughkeepise recieved ten million dollars in state revitalization funding!

This means 10 community projects are moving foward, from safer streets and public art to new housing and local gathering spaces. 🏙

This is the result of months of work by local leaders, residents, and planners who shared their vision for downtown. And we’re excited to be part of bringing it to life!

Governor Hochul announced awards for a total of 25 transformational projects for the Mid-Hudson Valley as part of two economic development programs: the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) and NY Forward.
