The best winter scenes are quiet ones.

A candle on the mantel. A glass in your hand. A forest of evergreens, engraved into both.
The Engraved Forest Collection came from a collaboration with Bertozzi, who have been block printing by hand in Italy since 1920. Their layered evergreen artwork became fine engraving on the Nantucket Hurricane and the Ascutney Double Old-Fashioned.

Glass and pottery have always shared a workshop at Simon Pearce. Now they share a piece.

The Ascutney Mixed Media Hurricane is a slightly tapered handblown form resting on a pottery base finished in our Cloud glaze. Our first design to unite both materials in a single organic silhouette.

Winter detail in every pour.

The Ascutney Double Old Fashioned, engraved with a layered evergreen forest. The pattern began as hand-blocked print artwork developed in collaboration with Bertozzi, then translated into fine engraving on the glass.

A treeline comes fully to life with a candle inside.

The Nantucket Hurricane, finely engraved with a layered evergreen pattern. Styled with Snowy Branches Evergreens, it builds a winter scene on its own.
