Arriving at 9 am Kathy began to weave her basket with Jim. Then Pat, Beth (Happy Birthday), Jen and Deb arrived. After lunch they attached the rims and were ready to go with chip brushes in hand to poly the weaving after the glued rims had set. What a great job they did. Congratulations to all.

The annual encampment of the Nimerskern family is being held in West Wareham (and a few in East Wareham) this week. Events have been planned for months. Deb has 4 siblings and they and their families all attend at some point.
Tomorrow 5 are coming to the studio to make a coaster/small Trisha's Tray in one day. Wood has been finished and waxed. Baskets are prepped and ready to go.
Another fun day ahead.

Today Nancy finished a 10" Tote and yesterday Mary finished her 16" tray.
Nancy has been working for a long time on her 10" Tote, and we are all pleased with the result. She used ebony, cherry and cane and then added rope k***s and scrim on ebony for her accent piece. Great work, Nancy.
Mary chose cherry and cane for her tray. What a wonderful wedding gift this is, Mary. You are so talented. Love the "tied the knot" scrim.
