Today we wear pink for Lindsay Clancyđź’•
Even if you don’t believe in metaphysical energy, there’s an undeniable psychological and social mechanism happening: individual people take an internal belief and make it physically visible.
Pink has a very particular energetic symbolism. One person wearing pink is an outfit choice. Hundreds of people wearing pink simultaneously with intention is a ritual.
It’s called collective intention field. Put it on because of what it means today. When it comes to energy the collective repetition is important. How rituals work:intention → symbol → collective repetition
And repetition is important in virtually every ritual tradition.
A candle isn’t inherently a prayer. A piece of clothing isn’t inherently a prayer.A color isn’t inherently a prayer.
But when humans assign intention to an object and repeatedly use that object as an expression of the intention, the object becomes symbolically charged.
That’s essentially how ritual objects work.So spiritually, you could conceptualize today’s pink clothing as a kind of temporary collective talisman. For Lindsay Clancy and all the other women in history who have been failed by the people in her world
There’s a paradoxical quality to pink wearing pink today.Because the subject matter is extraordinarily dark.
Three children. A mother is on trial. A father lost his children. There are questions of mental illness, responsibility, medication, trauma, grief, and justice. And against all of that, the group chooses one of the visually softest colors.
We’re going to bring softness into something that has become incredibly hard. Concentrated intention has more force than scattered intention. One person praying for compassion is one intentional point. A thousand people independently holding the same intention creates something like a network. Whether you call that a morphic field, collective consciousness, group prayer, egregore, ritual field is up to you, but today wearing pink has power. For Lindsay💕
