Powered by a quad core processor, it connects up to 25 devices via VE.Direct and USB, plus more via VE.Can, and provides real time monitoring of battery status, power consumption, and PV, generator, or mains input, along with automated generator start/stop and alerts. Where needed, the I/Os can be extended with the following optional USB accessories: the MK3-USB interface, GX I/O Extender 150, or GX Tank 140.

The system can be managed from anywhere through Remote Console on the VRM Portal, the VictronConnect app, or a web browser. For local display and control, an Android GX WiFi Display can be added.

Building on the GlobalLink 520, the new 530 swaps LTE-M for standard 4G LTE - the same network technology used by smartphones - with 2G fallback support where available. While the 520's LTE-M is a great low-power fit in supported regions, its availability is limited in many parts of the world. The 530's broader network compatibility means more reliable remote monitoring wherever you are, so you can always keep an eye on your system via the VRM Portal.

Like the 520, the GlobalLink 530 includes a 5-year prepaid SIM card, extendable after expiry, ensuring continuous remote monitoring without the need for extra contracts or SIM configuration.

For most countries, including Canada, the GlobalLink 530 is the recommended choice thanks to its wider network compatibility. The exception is the United States, where the GlobalLink 520 remains the recommended model, as the GlobalLink 530 isn't certified for use on US cellular networks.
