Second Look! Alberta Kinsey Signed Original!

Louisiana has countless artists of importance over the decades. Alberta Kinsey is definitely near the top. She pioneered the artistic presentation of the New Orleans courtyard. She was a founder of the Arts & Crafts Club of New Orleans and was highly instrumental in the restoration and revitalization of the French Quarter in the first half of the 1900’s. More locally she is credited with inspiring Clementine Hunter during one of her stays at Melrose Plantation. Several years ago 64 Parishes published a nice review of her life. It’s still available on their website at 64Parishes.org if you’d like a deeper dive!
