Rebound Bookstore is a member of the California Independent Booksellers Alliance. 21 years serving the community. We are happy to special order a book for you.

We have been located in, and serving the Marin and Bay Area community for 20 years. Our stock is mainly used, with some new books in certain categories. Our specialties are the Classics, Art, Theatre, History Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and Children/YA. Call or email us to see if we have the book you want in stock. We will also deliver to your home or business! Rebound Bookstore has been voted Best Used Bookstore in Marin County by the Marin IJ, the Bohemian, and the Pacific Sun in the years 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009, 2008, 2006, 2005.

🍁 🍂 🐛 The Outlaw Bookworms Book Club pick for November is Brideshead Revisited, by Evelyn Waugh. Club meetup is November 17. Social time starts at 6:00pm, followed by our discussion at 6:30.

We created the Outlaw Bookworms Book Club to come together and celebrate our freedom to choose books that are challenged or banned in parts of the United States. In 2025, more than 10,000 books were banned from schools and communities in the United States. This year, more than ever before, there are increased efforts to limit access to books for adults as well as children in public libraries. This is in addition to censorship of all kinds of historical, financial, and scientific data from U.S. government websites.

🎃 Our annual Trick or Treat in the West End Village and Downtown is today, 1:00-3:00pm! Follow the map for treats from participating businesses, and stop on by our shop for books, both scary ones, and not scary ones. Check out our Halloween window display, which has books for all ages.

We will have our table under the tree filled with children and teen books that have been banned or challenged in school districts around the country.
