Another example video showing a simple looking stone being worked out from our JOBA claims. There is just no telling what’s inside the epic seams. 🙌🔥🪨⛏️
This small inconspicuous stone yielded three outstanding cabs in a couple hours. (Note these aren’t buffed past about 3000 grit so they are still a little hazy but clearly great cabs)

(The large oval ring cab was originally a pendant size but a fracture was noticed and the stone was resized and finished without the compromise. No problem, the way knows the way, 😊)

Posting some examples of how to work JOBA float stones that may not look like they will cut well. Even the more challenging stones can still yield high quality cabs. I cut and worked all three of these cabs in 2 hours total time today on very dull wheels 😂.
Video shows stones before and there are pics in comments of the cutting process and finished cabs to 800 grit wheel.

Our first and likely only “Float” drop sale will begin Wednesday Aug 26 at 5 pm Pacific time. I will post when the sale begins at 5pm from our Mile High Minerals LLC FB page. We have approximately 90 pounds of A Grade float for sale. If material sells out, I will announce “sold out” at that time. The price is $60 a pound. Minimum order is 2 pounds and maximum order is 10 pounds. DIRECT MESSAGE YOUR ORDER ON MESSENGER ONCE SALE BEGINS. Commenting on the post will not count as an order.

The following pictures are of the exact material that will be sold. It will be roughly 50% Northern lights, 40% mixed seams and 10% banded and fire opal. All material has been sorted multiple times for quality. It’s quite possible that some of these patterns will never be seen again since they have been collected on the surface and we may not locate the seams underground when mining. This is truly a one time opportunity to have a piece of the ORIGINAL JOBA SEAM Float. 🫡🔥🙏
