Pike Place Market in Seattle - Before I moved here, my mother, grandmother and I took a 3 generational cruise to Alaska. We toured the market and saw vendor after vendor of beautiful farm stand flowers (and flying fish of course). 💐 The bouquets ranged from $15-40 and were breathtaking. I said that if I lived here, I would come to the market every week and buy a fresh bouquet of flowers. It’s been 28 years now and I have done that about 10 times. It still takes my breath away.

It’s my favorite weekend of the year in Seattle! Not only is it my birthday tomorrow, August 1st, send gifts, but it is also the start of Seafair weekend. This means… in no particular order….

* The Blue Angels - running from front deck to back deck to catch them. If I can hear them, I have already missed them
* Hydroplane races
* Boating on Lake Washington
* The Washington State Open USTA Level 2 tournament
* The Seattle Metro Pickleball tournament with over 640 participants
* The Champions of Change Foundations annual gala and pickleball tournament.

So many great options!!!

Court towels for each of your favorite lifestyle sports! It’s been hot, so I experimented and soaked my tennis towel in water and then froze it in my thermos. Threw the thermos in bad and almost perfection. I couldn’t get it out. But I think I was too impatient and tried when I opened it, so next time, I will let it thaw a little first.
