The hunt continues in the Montana badlands!!

In Episode 3 of our four-part Ultimate Dinosaur Hunting Guide, the crew follows shifting geology, ancient river channels, and flood-layer bone beds in search of the next big discovery.

Out here, the landscape is constantly changing. Hillsides slump, erosion exposes new material, and brutal wind and sudden weather can destroy fossils almost as quickly as they’re uncovered.

Along the way, the team pulls some incredible finds from the ground (we find large fossil bones and a massive crocodilian tooth) while the geology starts pointing toward the possibility of something even bigger hiding nearby.

Ultimate Dinosaur Hunting Guide Episode 2

Finding dinosaur fossils isn’t just about spotting bone on the surface, it’s about learning how to read the land.

In Episode 2, we head back into the Montana Badlands, where millions of years of erosion are exposing ancient river channels and the fossils they carried. Ty breaks down how the geology can help tell the story of what happened here, from scattered Triceratops fragments and raptor bones to mixed river deposits that may have transported fossils away from where the animals originally died.

As the crew follows the clues deeper into the hillside, new layers begin to emerge and with them, the possibility of something much bigger still buried beneath the surface.

The hunt is far from over. 👀
