Always fun to get to see an old "friend" again!

I built this M3 single manual organ for Brooks Milgate over 10 years ago. He just brought it back in for some upgrades and general servicing. It received:
-1/4" pre-expression Line Input installed
-Additional Leslie output installed so he can run both of his 145 Leslies
-relay added for safe switching of the leslie speed via footswitch
-new MOD reverb tank
-both Leslies received general servicing.... motors, rotor balancing, bearings, etc

Ready for another 10 years!

One thing i love about my job is it takes me to some incredible places sometimes. Here is the Tremont Temple Baptist Church in downtown Boston. Built in 1896. Picture doesn't really do it justice, but this room is massive. Im not sure how tall that ceiling is, but its way up there.... 7 or 8 story high i believe.
Magnificent architecture... they don't make them like they used to.
No i wasnt fixing the pipe organ... I was fixing and upgrading the little Hammond M3 in the corner. Four service calls completed today, in two states.

Two "built in" Lunchboxes headed out the door. One for a B3 and one for a C2. Just finished thoroughly testing these units, the best part of the job 🙂. They sound real nice.

This restored Hammond A100 and Leslie 142, along with a Boss Organ Lunchbox w/ FX loop, are headed to a music studio in Puerto Rico!

The Leslie is converted to XLR input with IEC power cable and power switch, so that they can put the Leslie in an isolation booth and connect it to the organ using the XLR patch bays which are already installed through the walls of the studio. No Leslie cable needed!

Lunchbox connects directly to the organ preamp with a TRS 1/4" cable... for very efficient set up and breakdown during sessions. (The Lunchbox is packed in the cardboard box in the pictures.)

Thanks for the orders everybody.... keeping me very busy building gear. Too busy tbh. August is supposed to be my annual personal/vacation time but i keep getting pulled back into the shop!

Out the door so far this week includes three Lunchboxes (two with FX loops), two Vacuum Tube Combo Preamps, two plug and play leslie kits, a universal Leslie kit, plug and play line/low pass out box, a reconed F15LL, standard 122 kit, and a t-shirt.

Bam! Another custom "Mini Leslie" finished and headed out into the world. These things pack a big punch in a little cab! Lost track how many of these ive built over the years, but its a lot! Have a few more coming down the pipeline.....

This one has 40watt amp with 1/4" input with built in tube preamp and tone control, Atlas pd60a driver, Eminence woofer, new beefy crossover, and 3-speed footswitch.

It is sitting on a dolly in the pic, but got casters installed before Dave Harris took her home!
