Big feelings 🤝 beautiful art

Stefanie Hunsaker’s work explores self-expression in a way that feels colorful, layered, and deeply human. Starting with a portrait that sparks something — a feeling, a question, a piece of herself she wants to better understand — Stefanie builds each piece intuitively using acrylic paint, pencil, fabric, scrapbook paper, and found materials.

The result? Vibrant mixed-media collages full of texture, pattern, emotion, and stories waiting to be felt.

Inspired by the lives of women (their struggles, triumphs, and everything in between), Stefanie’s work reminds us that sometimes understanding ourselves starts with simply paying attention to what we’re feeling.

Happy Birthday, Matthew! 🎉

If you’ve stopped by From Here, chances are you’ve met Matthew — helping folks find something special in the shop, chatting music, or sharing a great thrift find.

Outside the store, Matthew makes music with Atari Ferrari and releases solo work as Automatic Shoes (music really is in his bones). He’s also a dedicated thrifter, collector of wooden figurines, and lover of painting, decorating, design, and cooking — always finding ways to make life a little more creative.

We’re lucky to have him as part of the From Here crew. Help us wish Matthew the happiest birthday! 🎂✨
