June 2026
Happy June! We can't believe the year is almost halfway through... summer is around the corner and we're getting closer to the first of the 2026 Southern Hemisphere harvest.
Father's Day is right around the corner as well and we have everything you need to make the day special! Give the gift of Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil or delicious Balsamic Vinegars for grilling, marinating, and more. We also have a curated selection of specialty grocery items for sauces, sides, and whatever else you might need!
We are open until 8-8:30pm Wednesdays throughout the summer for Kendall Yards Night Market. You'll find us in our usual spot and we'd love to see you... the markets are a lot of fun!
Rosemary Fused Olive Oil is Back!
We've missed it too, and we're excited to announce that our Rosemary Fused Olive Oil offering has returned with a fresh harvest from Tunisia! As a Fused olive oil the rosemary leaves are crushed with the olives at the time of harvest, lending to a unique experience where the aromatics have exceptional depth.
If you haven't tried it yet, Rosemary is perfect with poultry, pork, or lamb. It's also amazing drizzled over sautéed vegetables. It pairs extremely well with Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar as well. Stop by and give it a taste!
Recipe: Balsamic BBQ Sauce
Make your own BBQ sauce with olive oil and balsamic vinegar! Perfect for Father's Day and beyond, we think you'll love this sauce on everything from chicken to pulled pork. We especially enjoy it basted on pork tenderloin! The recipe is quite easy and you can find all the spices from Inland Empire Spice at our Tasting Room.
Note: You can substitute smoked paprika for the regular paprika if you don't have Olive Wood Smoked Infused Olive Oil.
2 Tbsp Olive Wood Smoked Infused Olive Oil
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Traditional Condimento Dark Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tbsp Hot Honey Vinegar Condimento
2 Tbsp Dolce Mela (optional)
2 Tbsp dijon mustard
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika (or smoked paprika)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1. Whisk together all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat on medium heat.
2. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The sauce doesn't need to cook too long... it's done when it is reduced somewhat and tastes to your liking. Don't be afraid to experiment with this forgiving recipe!
That's it for now! Stay tuned as summer unfolds... as usual we're keeping things exciting around here with some fun new offerings just up ahead.
