Mid-Summer Newsletter 2026

Summer is in full swing and we're excited to share the news about our next wave of new products!

We'll soon be shuffling a few things around in the tasting room to create a "citrus bar" to showcase all of our citrusy olive oil offerings which is now growing. See below for the details!

And if you're into tea and herbs, our spices from Inland Empire Spice will soon be joined by several high quality loose-leaf tea options, as well as a lineup of loose medicinal herbs for all kinds of good uses. Look for these in the coming weeks!

Exciting new single-varietal Ultra Premium Southern Hemisphere Harvest 2026 EVOOs are on their way and we'll have the first selections available in a few weeks! In the meantime, our Northern Hemisphere 2025 lineup is still fresh and fabulous, so stock up on your favourites while we still have them!

Basil is in season and it’s the perfect time to make homemade pesto! This delicious recipe for Basil Lemon Pesto is easy to make and you can change the olive oil flavour to your liking.

4 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup Lemon Fused Olive Oil
1/2 cup pine nuts
1/2 to 1 cup parmigiano reggiano cheese, grated (to taste)
5-7 whole peeled garlic cloves (use more or less to taste)
1/4 tsp salt
Sprinkle of fresh ground black pepper

1. Add basil, garlic, pine nuts, salt, and pepper to a food processor bowl.
2. Pulse several times to combine and roughly chop all of the ingredients.
3. With the food processor running, slowly drizzle the olive oil into the bowl in a steady stream.
4. Add the grated parmigiano reggiano and turn on the food processor until combined.
5. Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks or freeze for several months.
