Tuesday we announced Call Time, a 7 episode series that runs consecutively with haunt season. We have spent a lot of time and had many conversations about how we wanted to structure this show to actually be interesting and educational. The entire season is already mapped out and we wanted go ahead and put out the episode guide! We have some HEAVY HITTING industry professionals as guests on most of these shows! Be sure to tune in, it's going to be some great conversation!

Haunt season is officially here, and this season has been kicking our ass... However, behind the scenes something new has been brewing.

Over the past six months, we’ve had a lot of conversations about the future of education at Dreadworks. We’ve always offered training, especially for attractions getting started with airbrush makeup, but this season, and heading into 2027, we’re taking that side of Dreadworks much further.

Introducing Call Time, a 7-week live web show built specifically around haunt season.

Each week, we’ll recap what’s happening during haunt season, cover a specific topic or pain point in haunts, and sit down with industry leaders from different areas of the business to talk about their season, their processes, and how they keep their operations running efficiently when things get crazy.

A lot of work and preparation has gone into making Call Time happen, and we’re incredibly excited to finally share it with you.

We spent this past weekend at Sheboygan Haunted Asylum in Sheboygan Wisconsin doing a makeup training for their artists. Over the past couple of months, in collaboration with Spencer Dillman, we have fine tuned and developed a training course precisely catering to haunted attraction makeup and pre-show processes for attractions. This is one of the most extensive airbrush fx makeup training plans out there and there is truly nothing like it in our industry.

This weekend was our first official chance to put that course to the test and I believe it was a huge success. We took a group of people, many of them having never airbrushed prior, and by the end of the weekend they were comfortable with the foundations of haunted attraction makeup, taking airbrushes apart, cleaning them, and putting them back together, and doing basic haunted house looks in 5min or less.

There is a huge hole for education in our industry and we believe it is super important. Educating and providing the tools for the younger and new people in our industry is only going to help it improve in the future.

We have some huge plans regarding industry education in the near future. Be sure to keep your eyes out! And thanks a ton to Sheboygan Haunted Asylum for having us out!

Hey ya'll! How's everyone doing! We haven't been as active on here during the off season and I hate that... To be honest, it's been a crazy busy summer. It's finally starting to wind down and we are only a month and a half away from the beginning of haunt season! That's nuts!

That being said, we're here for ya! A lot of haunts have started getting their orders in for the season. Here's your yearly reminder that early is better than waiting until the week you open! Can't wait to see what you guys create this season!

Most of the pre-orders have shipped out, however there was a small issue with the printer and they accidently skipped over all of the 2XL shirts on our order. They are currently being made and we will receive them soon!

So if you pre-ordered a 2XL, just a little bit long of a wait! Sorry guys!

What's up guys! Word has gotten out and unfortunately we will not be vending at MHC this year. We wanted to try out East Coast and with the allotted time we have for the year with regular jobs, MHC did not make the cut.

That being said, we still want to give everyone an opportunity to save on our products regardless of being at the show!
