Hotel Room Trilogy by Barry Gifford was published in 1995 by University Press of Mississippi.

The trilogy consists of one act plays connected by the same hotel room, which guests pass through all navigating eerie, tragic, and or violent circumstances.

Barry Gifford, who occupies the space of weird noir, and a strain of post-beat poetry, is perhaps best known for his novel “Wild at Heart: The Story of Sailor and Luna,” and its subsequent series following its protagonists through a bizarre and s*x crazed road trip through the South. The first novel was adapted into the film by the same name directed by David Lynch. Gifford then co-wrote the screenplay to Lynch’s next film “Lost Highway”, which heightened interest in his novels.

Gifford originally wrote the teleplay for the HBO series adapted by David Lynch in 1993. Three episodes aired, two being adapted from Giffords plays, before future production was canceled due to poor reception.

Signed First Edition priced $130 in store.
